Founded in 2010, the UNM-Taos dual credit photo program offers college level contemporary photographic instruction to high school juniors and seniors from around Northern New Mexico. The class is a part of the Teen Art Institute, a cutting edge curriculum developed at UNM-Taos. It was designed to teach contemporary art to students from the under-served rural mountain communities in Taos and Rio Arriba Counties. Jonathan Blaustein, the professor, is a photographer, writer and educator with 15 years experience as a fine artist.
